Verse Ready Privacy Policy

Verse Ready requires no account. Bible reading and search use KJV, ASV, WEB, and MSB content bundled with the app and work without a network connection.

Reflections, Favorites, the single Bookmark, reading position, and recent searches are stored in protected local app storage. CloudKit is disabled. Verse Ready does not use analytics, ads, tracking, accounts, or an app-owned server.

Private Dictation uses Apple’s on-device Speech framework. After explicit approval, iOS may download and manage an Apple speech model. The recording and transcript are not included in that download. Raw audio is processed in memory and is neither stored nor uploaded. Only text explicitly saved becomes a Reflection.

Markdown export occurs only after user action. The system exporter sends the document to the selected destination or file provider, which then controls that copy.

Personal content remains until deleted or the app is removed. Delete All is at Settings → Privacy → Delete All Personal Data. Clear Search History removes only recent search phrases.
